Adrian Baer is Jellybird, a multi-instrumentalist and multi-genre composer whose experimental sound collages tap into the vibrational essences of the body, spirit, and emotions using an eclectic combination of “found” sounds and more common instruments.
Born and raised during formative years in the Bay Area, his music is informed by the music and vibe of that time and place. Adrian is a veteran of the LA music scene playing in and around Los Angeles and Orange County. After gigging with various bands and doing sessions work, the pandemic lock-down refocused his intent and he began to spread out spiritually and vibrationally.
Jellybird’s explorations range from rock to psychedelic soundscapes to horizontal meditations to clear the mind in the tradition of ancient works and modern compositions.
Recent albums include Meditations, World Set Fire, Rise, and Kali Lullabies. The music is intended for headphones or stereo systems that allow for the music to spread and breath.
Adrian lives in Venice, California with his wife, the poet and photographer Holaday Mason.
